Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? I always end up tearing the screen when rolling the seal into the frame. Am I just making it too tight?

Hi Alex, I followed your instructions on separating glass on dg unit and cleaned it really well. I used silicone to put it back together and gorilla taped the edge. But it started to fog almost immediately and now is full of water droplets again. Where did I go wrong, please help? Thanks very much. John W

This instruction video is excellent. Nevertheless, this is a stupid design. The construction is waiting for a failure starting from day 1. It has to be small, concealed, high-tech and cheap. So durability is taken out of the design equation. No one in his right mind would try to balance a heavy window on a spring held in place by a flimsy cord which carries FOUR times the spring force. Yet, as long as it works during the warranty period it is fine.

What I want to know with humidity in the air will cause the cavity in between the glass to mist up in colder climate and I heard they inject argon gas also in the double glazing.
